in addition to two drink vouchers, this was in the room (but strangely the welcome letter was on the floor near the door).

2 drink voucher (beer, tea, cocktail, juice,...)
Welcome gift was coconut water, plate of chocolate , macaron and some tropical fruits.

Had a 2-night stay at Fairmont Macdonald in Edmonton, AB, Canada in Feb for $173/night including taxes and fees for their lowest rate (Fairmont View Room).
Got upgraded to their Signature King room valued at $280/night prior to arrival thanks to Accor Gold status. Front desk wasn't able to upgrade me to a suite unfortunately and I was told I could only receive a gold status upgrade for suites if I booked the lowest suite rate.
Got 2 drink tickets at their Confederation Lounge which I used for 2 cocktails valued at $20 each.
Got a nice welcome letter and 4 chocolate strawberries as a welcome gift. Once I reach 5 posts I'll come back to post a photo of the welcome gift.

Seems US-based Fairmont's are not the most creative in the portfolio.

Ibis Schipol / ALL Platinum
A chocolate bar + a bottle of water (guess water bottle are not complimentary at Ibis -or it's the worst gift ever, but am unsure as the only Ibis I stay in are CDG and AMS when I have an overnight connection)

I believe their intention was the bunny digging hole ... but the placement of the card is somehow make it looks like decapitation
