Why is it so difficult to get accor rewards to credit points properly?

I had a couple of stays where points did not post at all. I found the best solution was to contact the manager of the hotel concerned directly. My problem was resolved within 24 hours this way. Try and get a contact email or business card before leaving, if you can remember to do so. Some hotels are quite hot about having feedback through surveys, so that can be a good way to get in touch too. If the points are not there in 7 days I think it’s ok to chase it up.
