Well i can certainly see mine stating 41 stays 72 nights and i am Platinum !
But whatever it shows, I won't re-qualify based on the number of nights but rather (because of the various promotions, Facebook points etc.) based on the number of points. The relevant information can't be found anywhere. |

I suggest sending a message to Amy, the Accor Concierge and she may be able to escalate it. as you are also Aclub Plus, can you advise me how i should track the platinum re qualification. What I see now: 12 stays, 19 nights My status is valid until 30-September-2016. So I guess that that number of nights and stays from be from 1-October-2015, which I doubt I have stayed for that many times since the beginning of this month. |

My preliminary conclusion is that these figures reflect the number of nights and stays during the last 365 days, not since my platinum requalification. Maybe lingua101 you can also do that math and let us know whether or not you can confirm my theory? |
After a lengthy email exchange with "Accor members assistance", at least I found out the date when my Platinum status was changed, i.e. upgraded to Platinum. I did some maths and the total of points is 33k, and the necessary 25k was reached already in September. Nevertheless, I still have "Validity of your status:31/10/2015". If I read it as it is, I am going to lose my status after this date regardless to over 30k points collected...
Tracking Platinum status is really unclear and annoying since other programmes not only show you the number of points needed to keep your status but also send you reminder emails. |

Also the "Validity of your status:..." date will always be the end of the month regardless of your actual renewal date which could be earlier in the month. I assume that is to give them enough time to send you a replacement card for the following year. It's not helpful if you want to know where you stand with renewal but it currently is all you get. |

The reason that this is not trivial for me is that I collected more than 25,000 points between the 8th of December 2014 (the day after I reached platinum) and the 31st of December 2014. However I collected less than 25,000 points so far in the calendar year 2015, so if those points which I collected in December do NOT count then I still need some more points to requalify. @Gile363, @cwl - do you have more information on that topic? |

For me the important question, which so far has not been answered by anyone, is: does the requalification period really start exactly on the day you reach platinum status, or does this period only start on the first of the next month, as the end date on my card and in my profile (31 DEC 2015) seems to suggest.

What the Le Club Terms and Conditions state is: "A Member moves up to the next Status level once he/she has satisfied the conditions for obtaining that Status level, which he/ she keeps for a period of 12 months (365 days). To access the Programme’s Status levels, the Member must have spent or earned, over the last 365 days, at least: Table not pasted If, at the end of this period, the Member once again satisfies the conditions required for this Status level, the Status level is then renewed for an additional 12 months (365 days). If the Member does not satisfy these conditions during the current 12-month period, he/she will be given the Status corresponding to his/her activity calculated over the preceding 365 days (based on the scale in the above table) at the end of this period. A new card corresponding to the Member’s new Status is sent automatically within 4 weeks." The terms and conditions make a point of a membership year being 365 days and not calendar months. If the year was to the end of the calendar month 12 months later that would be more than 365 days and contradict Accors own definition of a 12 month year. Based on that if it was me I would confidently argue to Customer Services that the year runs from the exact day you gain a level to exactly 365 days later (not from the start of the next calendar month to the end of a calendar month 12 months later). The physical Le Club card issued has a validity more than 365 days (as it goes to the end of the calendar months 12 month later). That I have assumed is to allow time for a new card to be issued but that is only supposition by me. That is also my experience with other loyal scheme cards. The only way to be sure is to try to get a definitive answer from Customer Services although that may be difficult. As others have said a online feature making clear how far you are from re-attaining status would be a real help. |

It seems to me that tracing is per your claim, i.e. the past 365 days, as I belive I got my Platinum after that 23-Oct-2014 stays. Let me see if this number will drop after this weekend. |

Ok, I looked through the transactions. I traced back my 12 stays and 19 nights back to 23-Oct-2014.

My thinking: the intention was to show the stays/nights during the 365 days requalification period, but somehow that that not work out. Maybe the programmers misinterpreted the specs? Who knows. But even if Accor manages to fix this, the most important thing would still be missing: the number of points for requalification. |

I don't know what happened in the case of lingua101, but for me this is how it seems to work. I had another check-out on the 26th of October 2014, so I will report back tomorrow whether the number of stays/nights in my profile will be reduced by one again. |

That is very strange indeed. The only thing I can think of is that you had a non-qualifying stay, which could be shown as 1 stay but 0 nights. But that should show in your activity list as 1 stay with 0 points then. If not, then they probably use a randomizer :D
Now I see 10 stays and 19 nights..... |

The number of stays/nights listed in my account went down by one stay and one night today. That confirms my theory, since I had a check-out of a one night stay on the 25th of October 2014.
