Swiss-Grand Resort & Spa, Bondi Beach - Any experience?

Does anyone have any experience with the Swiss-Grand Resort & Spa, Bondi Beach in Australia? We are considering having a customer event at this property. Any opinions on the property in general? The area? Conference facilities? Dining?

Swiss-Grand Resort & Spa, Bondi Beach - Any experience?

Hi there,

Yes, I have run a client event at the Swiss Grand at Bondi in October 2010 and was very impressed with the hotel overall. The event was a client recognition 'thank you' for our customers loyalty and the hotel did a great job in working with us. The locaion is great, right on Bondi Beach and we hosted a wrap cocktail event overlooking the beach from the Ocean Deck which we go a lot of positive comments from our customers.

The conference rooms are quite old however contempory, confortable and tidy. The property has a unique charm and a lot of history and you can tell the staff have experience in providing great customer events.

Regarding the catering, we have a number of special requests that were met by the hotel surrounding the theme of the event. Overall the food was great and most importantly abundant.

Hopefully this helps.

Thanks

Katy

This feedback is really in contrast to the feedback on Tripadvisor and other sources. Any additional data points out there?
