Apologies if this is a ridiculously easy question, but is there somewhere that I enter this code on the A Club page when I log into my account?

you have to tick a box "promotional code" and then some space is available for entering the promo code

These status codes can only be used when opening a new account....not for upgrading an existing one.

I think Ibis only has one room type. At best you can ask for a double or a single bed.

Yup, but there are some Ibis who got Classic or Superior room, City view or Harbor View, etc. Sometimes if you got lucky, you might got upgraded to superior and got the better views, I think it would be another kind of upgrade. But, don't expect too much actually so you won't be hurt.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. Unfortunately ibis Perth has standard rooms only, the most I can request is a room with a double bed so if anyone has stayed in this hotel let me know better view or floor mayb to stay. Thanks again.

I stayed at an Ibis recently and they gave me the highest floor when i requested for it. That could be the best an Ibis can provide.

Most of the Ibis chain have just standard rooms.

In my experience....and I'm not sure if it's just been a coincidence or not....I have usually been given the quietest room...away from any lifts or stairs, end of corridor etc.
I'm happy with that.
