depends on when she arrives and how much you want to spend and how long you want it to take.
no lite rail. goes to balt. no metro stop in gtown.
bus to greenbelt, metro to mt. vernon sq, circulator to gtown is probably least expensive. and a decent option.
train to union station, circulator to gtown.
taxi is $60-70, probably.
