I have been so peeved at a decreasing upgrade ratio that I have started booking everything in M. I then call SMS and have them upgrade me using miles or PMU's. On arrival to the airport I am batting about 500 in terms of actually having to give up the miles or PMU. (Note: this screws up any possibility of OLCI)
