[QUOTE=chgoeditor;9939320] I'm quite torn about whether I should buy a top-quality hairdryer and flat iron in both 110 and 220, or shoot for a dual voltage. Unfortunately, I've hated the dual voltage appliances I've bought so far! QUOTE]

I have an Elchim hairdryer in both 110 and 220. I am very happy I finally bought the one in 220 volt. The results are so much better than all the dual voltage hairdryers my sister and I have gone through.

I wanted a quality hairdryer as well, I only considered Elchim, Solano or Solis. It was a bit of challenge to find a 220 hairdryer in the US. But I found a place and it came out quite a bit cheaper to buy here. Next, I think I want a curling iron in 220 volt.
