This is kind of like the thread about the FA that made the bomb joke where people who ordinarily think that overreaction isn't acceptable, the lack of overreaction because it was an FA was considered equally unacceptable.
Whilst secondary retaliation isn't something that should happen, drawing attention to yourself in certain situations (like this one) would seem to be something to avoid. I know enough women who don't like to be winked at, whistled at and so on that I'd think twice about doing it in any situation even moreso at a security line.
