In maybe 250 segments over the past 4+ years, I have received poor service exactly zero times. Most FAs have been very good. The "bottom of the barrel" for me have been good. No attitude, no poor service. Guess I'm just lucky.

You are definately the luckiest man alive. Sometimes I wonder if we are talking about the same airline.
The service I received and observed from flight attendents has been all over the map. My biggest complaint about AA is inconsistent service. Just when I'm ready to throw in the towel I have a great experience. The good news is in the last 2-3 months I have noticed a marked improvement in FA quality/attitude on the flights I've been on.
