Ah, tricky! Maybe a physical description and class of service Fred1 is working. Benefits would possibly include a free cup o'joe at a local Starbuck's, but would be most beneficial when/if Fred1 gets a bad letter. If his file is filled with hundreds of good letters, the manager may give him the benefit of the doubt, with such a stellar record.
