That being said, I love saving money when I can regardless of how much I can really afford to spend.
When I fly into Newark, instead of paying $80 for a cab into the city, I take the train for $15 to Penn Station - I stay across the street - all is good and I saved $65.
Yep, by 2-3 oclock Ive had a nice snack in the lounge, a few drinks and then I hit the sack til 9ish, then I have a late dinner downtown and arrive back at the hotel 11ish polish off the $8 bottle of wine I bought on my morning walk, and sleep til morning, italy time. sure beats waking up at 2am when everything is closed.
