Hi,

Have booked my business partner and I on a DONE5 which includes a LHR-ACC leg. At the moment we want to travel on 4 Aug. We have confirmed one seat on 5 Aug and one on 6 Aug. The AA RTW desk said she was unable to waitlist a seat for us and that sometimes BA allows it and sometimes not. Both the 4 & 5 Aug flights seem to have ample J inventory according to EF.

So my question - does anyone knwo how we get a waitlist on BA for either one extra D seat on the 5 Aug or move us both to D on 4 Aug. Is either strategy better?

Is it worth begging the Explat desk to send a message to the BA rep to see if they can help.

Any thoughts appreciated.
