Price isn't the most important. I'm look at the IC Le Grand since I have some PC points to redeem. Otherwise its about $600/night. If I pay for all 4 nights, I'd probably want something less than $400 per night, but its not a requirement.

We don't like modern, but rather more traditional hotels with nice luxuries and some style. Not an apartment.
Check out
Hotel Relais Christine. It's on a great little very quiet side street in the 6th. It's in a wonderful location with lots of transportation within very short walking distance. In any hotel in the price range in which you're looking, you won't have a problem with street noise most likely.
There's nothing wrong with the IC Grand that you mention either. It is in a very good location too.
I've stayed in the 1st, 8th, 15th and 6th and every part of Paris has it's own special things, but the 6th is my favorite. But, that's just IMO.
