Oh and I'll have headphones alright. They're probably not compatible with QF hardware, but that's not a big deal - my iPod will keep me just fine. Besides, I don't usually watch much TV/listen to much radio bar my own, and how much inflight entertainment can one enjoy on a 1 hour flight?
I notice that AKL (both Dom & Int) have baggage storage facilities. This will be most useful, since after QF2702 I'll need to leave my checked baggage so I can MR efficiently (correction: have a chance of completing successfully) for the rest of the day. Hopefully they'll accept my bag (I've got a 70cm roller) - don't really want to run to Int to use their services (just inconvenient). There's also the option to run to the city and leave my bag with my hotel.............hmmmm............. (there is a 2hr+ gap between QF2702 and QF2711)
