As you can see from UpgradeME's post, Flyertalk is a wealth of information, and searching the archives can be very useful.

Of course, not everything that can be said has been said -- and when you have a very specific question the best and easiest way to get the question answered is to find the appropriate Flyertalk forum. Each program has lots of experts within the community of Flyetalkers, and those folks tend to zero in on the bulletin board for those programs.
