There must be a way to program the XV6900 to receive Hotmail through Messaging on the XV6900. I do not want to deal with having to use IE and go to the Windows Live site and then have to click on the Hotmail tab which is a PIA. I used to be able to view my Hotmail messages through messaging on my Moto Q without a problem. Also I have a premium Hotmail account.

Currently I tried setting Hotmail up as a new account in Messaging as follows:

Email address: [email protected]
Your name: XXX XXXX
Account display name: Hotmail
Incoming mail server: pop3.live.com
Account type: pop3
User name: [email protected]
Password:XXXXXX
Save password box is checked
Outgoing (SMTP) mail server: smtp.live.com
Outgoing server requires authentication box is checked
Use the same user name and password for sending email box is checked
Advanced Server Settings:
Both require SSL for incoming and outgoing email boxes are checked
Network connection: The Internet

What am I doing wrong?
