The only benefit is between the UA/DL Frequent Flyer program is that you can fly one airline and accrue redeemable mileage for the other. In my case, I will never fly enough with DL to achieve any status so I use my UA MP# and accrue redeemable mileage to award travel or upgrades. There is no provision for status mileage. Therefore, this program is useless to me.
