Recently completed CO#15 EWR-HNL and was refused interline of checked bags to HA interisland flight. Reason given was not enough connect time. I had an hour, redcoat said I needed 75 minutes. Previously have done this interline / connect in HNL a bazillion times with no problem, often with a 45 minute connection.

So, anybody know if there is an official time limit I can refer to? I have checked the May 08 contracts of carriage, but it is not in there. If the rules have changed I need to know it for future bookings.

FWIW, I made my interisland connection to HA even with collecting bags off CO carousel, dragging them down to Interisland terminal, and re-clearing secuity.
But, what a hassle...
