This happened to me in DIA on Thursday; a TSA agent had a desk set up at the end of the (extremely long) line up for security and was inspecting everyone's baggies before they got to screening to make sure they wouldn't hold up the screening with their lethal toothpaste tubes.

It made sense from that perspective, at least, as much as the liquid ban ever has.
