When I used to live in SE Idaho there was a large contingent of people who were against alcohol living in the area. One time when checking out with a case of beer (WalMart, unfortunately) I found out the cashier was apparently one of them.
How? After sliding the box across the scanner she left with a look of disgust, went to the women's room and washed her hands, making a giant show of wiping off when she came back.
If I had had free time I would have complained to the manager right then and there. It is a shame I was in a rush. It's fine to have certain religious views, but when you are functioning in a customer service role the customer doesn't need to catch attitude for it.
I'd have come back with a box of condoms and a carton of smokes. I'd have given her my biggest wink too.
