I have been trying to book a Visit South America Pass--a OneWorld product. On the webpage describing the product (
http://www.oneworld.com/ow/air-trave...-south-america), there is the following paragraph: "When you are ready to make a booking please contact your travel agent or a reservations office of ANY oneworld member airline. Due to the complexity of these products, on-line booking through member airline sites is not currently available; however, reservations staff at the member airlines will be pleased to assist you. For contact information select the member airline of your choice below." (Emphasis added.) However, British Airways claims not to sell this (although they do sell other single-continent passes). American does sell it, although they apparently require the tickets into and out of South America to be on the same PNR, which is not required by the rules. Be that as it may, how can OneWorld claim that I can purchase this from "any oneworld member airline," when BA refuses to sell the product (regardless of whether I'm flying round-trip on a BA-ticketed flight or otherwise). If the answer is that only AA and LA sell this product, then I would think the website should be updated to reflect that fact. Thanks.
