In general terms, you can change a transit into a stopover, by making a date change to the booking for the second sector (i.e. LHR-STO in your case). Date changes are free - BUT they might entail a change in fees and other threads have spoken about the heavy
stopover fees at LHR.
Some problems for you might be:
- Since you started in STO, you have to end in Sweden
- Have you already used up your two allowed European stopovers? (that's the most you are allowed in the Continent of Origin)
