Hello oneworld4u -- I've posted my query weeks ago in the 'Other European Frequent Flyer Programs' forum, and even in this forum before that, to no avail. Perhaps you could kindly provide some insight.

I'm OW Sapphire flying IB (AA codeshare) BOS-MAD. As a rather tall (1.94m) passenger, I'd very much appreciate reserving an exit row seat for the TATL flight. I called Iberia's dripping-with-attitude customer service line and they told me, in so many words, that I can inquire about exit-row seating when I check in.

I fly SFO-DFW and DFW-BOS on AA, landing in BOS two hours before my flight to MAD departs. Could I call Iberia and get an exit row seat upon check-in at SFO or at DFW, or do I have to wait until I arrive at BOS, which, given the time, means I probably won't get it?
