As we were coming down the stairs, some of the business class passengers were trying to get off which stopped our exit. All of a sudden, extra crew arrived and blocked the others from leaving, letting us get off. (I think they may have even linked arms - to stop the mob from getting in our way.)
It
is standard procedure-- and they are very good about it. I generally see 4-6 FA's blocking C pax until all F pax have deplaned. It takes so many beacuse they have to block three points of egress from the C cabin.
