Are you sure it is only US$ 550?

I tried to call AMEX to find out about the Platinum International Dollar Charge Card. I was given the run around from Amex Platinum SIN to Amex Platinum US to Amex Platinum Philippines to Amex Platinum SIN back to US back to Philippines. None of the Amex reps had a clear idea. Finally the Philippines rep said I can apply for one for $750 or so, promised to fax me the application etc papers. That was more than a week ago, and I am still waiting for her fax!!!
