I definitely notice a difference, but it is dependent on length, and on component. For example, a 6m cable for Bluray highlights the difference between 700 and 1000, especially in 1080p. Beyond this, it is somewhat imperceptable.
I'm still waiting for source material that takes enough advantage of 1080p to be able to see the difference .

x50 on Monoprice or Blue Jeans.
