Geez, use a little common sense and intellect when reading my posts, dude. OF COURSE I know that not every TSO is a thieving thief. DUH! If we were standing together in person I'd be shaking you by the shoulders while saying that (figuratively if not literally).

My point is that the TSA is facilitating this behavior with their policies, both on the alleged-terrorist-prevention front as well as on the hiring criteria front. TSOs ARE stealing from checked bags (as well as carry-ons) because they have the opportunity, they have plausible deniability ("can you prove it wasn't the baggage handlers?"), and some feel undercompensated and given the first two items feel they can "stick it to the man" with no repercussions.

So once again for those who still don't get what I'm trying to say, I will spell it out with no ambiguity: OF COURSE not all TSOs are thieving thieves. However, there is SOME NUMBER GREATER THAN ZERO of them who ARE thieving thieves. Therefore, I consider ALL INDIVIDUALS WHO WEAR THE UNIFORM to be thieving thieves. They steal property from their CUSTOMERS, and they steal PAYCHECKS from their employer (uh, that would be US, the taxpayers funding the effort) by doing nothing to accomplish their agency's so-called stated objectives.

It's called hyperbole. Look it up on dictionary.com if you must.
