i think you should make a recommendation that all crew fly J in street clothes....would solve all of these issues.
People like their jobs for the perks they get...whether it be a discount off of a product, a free gym membership, whatever....but when they see others enjoying the perks of their jobs they blow a fuse.
I completely agree that a company needs to take care of their best passengers....however, it is not an entitlement, and a courtesy upgrade is just that, a courtesy. You are not entitled to a J seat when you purchased a Y ticket.....if you want to ensure you have a J seat, purchase a J seat.
