I completely agree Traveloshitty is the worst. I was in SYD for a few nights and used them to book a fairly standard Hilton looking 3* hotel. Upon arrival it was fairly obvious the place was a disaster. The place didnt have keycards and relied on old style actual keys. When my girlfriend and I got to our room the bed had food stains and the blanket (if you can call it that) was filled with several cigarette burns. The room lacked any furniture other than a nightstand and the smallest tv you can imagine. There were bugs crawling in the room. Everything was absolutely awful. We spoke with the agent at the desk who refused any sort of refund or room change eventhough we hadnt been checked in for five minutes.

Immediately we called traveloshitty which is where the real fun started. I spoke with one of the Indian call center reps who offered only to refund the second days charge but couldnt refund the first. I then spoke with a manager who supposedly spoke directly with the hotel and confirmed that travelocity wouldnt refund me. The traveloshitty manager stated that they dont actually inspect most properties, they simply rely on the properties to provide an accurate star rating. After over an hour on a payphone in Sydeny I got fed up went back to the filthy hotel, checked out and got a decent place.

Upon returning to the US I complained to travelocity and received nothing but idiotic responses from the Indians in their consumer relations department. They refused to refund me and repeatedly offered me some $50 dollar off coupon for a 2 night stay. I refused that coupon and told them they could go and shove it you know where. I would rather sleep on the street than book a hotel with traveloshitty again.
