I will though say that for such a short flight an old or new interior wouldn't make all that much of a difference to me. The old seats are comfortable enough for the less than 2-hour flight and any difference in IFE also wouldn't really matter. Unless you just want to experience a refurbished 777-300 I'd say just book whichever class you want based on other factors.
If you really want to know what aircraft it is why not just call TG and ask them?

I probably will just ring TG and ask them. And as you said aswell the older 773Biz class seats are comfortable. I have travelled in them for over 3 hours and though they were pretty good. I just would like to experiance brand new Royal Silk class seats on 773. Its either that or wait until my Royal Silk class flight SYD-BKK in January 2009. This time to BKK I decided for Y class internatinally and C class for domestic. And anyway, even if the seats are the older type, I still get to visit the new lounge at BKK airport. Any more info or news from anyone, much appreicated.
