As you say, it is a very easy workaround, once such knowledge is shared.
The speed of FT seems fine now and I only noticed slowdowns a few times recently.

lin821, a few other FTers, and I have spent a lot of time on that thread, attempting to find workarounds, get Mikel, Kevin, etc. to answer question, acknowledge problems, and give us updates. I know that
Canarsie was planning to update the
Using the Search Feature on FlyerTalk: The Definitive Thread, as soon as the new search engine was more workable, when/if that ever happens.
Maybe I'll take some time to go over the problems from the search problems thread (a lot of it is just FTers venting), make a list of the problems/issues, PM Mikel and get an update as to where those things stand now, and start an IB Search Tool Workarounds for Known Issues (and issues awaiting a solution/workaround) thread (where FTers can post solutions/workarounds for the issues raised in the thread search problems thread. Of course then I'll have to keep editing the first post to update it.

Hello, again. I've only had a few isolated instances of any real delay Mon./Tue., and they were all ads taking forever to load.
