Disabling motion detector (PIR) in thermostats in hotels

Last year the family and I were at Disney World and we kept returning to our rooms to find them blazing hot and waking up in the middle of the night sweating. We called engineering and were told the thermostats have a motion detector that shuts the AC off after so many minutes of stillness in the room. The cast member they sent proceeded to press a series of buttons in a certain order that disabled the motion detector for 48 hours.

I am an IDIOT for not writing that sequence down because that same thermostat has popped up at a Four Points and Holiday Inn I have stayed at in the past couple of months.

Does anyone know the sequence to do this? Forget green I wannabe cool!

I realize there may be different manufactures, but I think we need to compile a list. I, for one, will download it into my PDA.
