Is this on one PNR? Where is your destination? I have had good luck with DL to put me on a later flight with such connection times ... call and inquire, as a ST E+ they should at least try to help you. I would not risk a 40 minute connection from B to A w/o at least a back-up plan.
Thanks all. This is one PNR, an award flight using NW miles, SEA to MCO. For 25,000 mi I can get upfront on AS and DL, with the BOS connection. Or I can take most any flight on NW and sit in the back. I am connecting to a ns to MCO, so if I miss, I'll have many options thru ATL. AS arrives at 6:40am and DL departs at 7:20am, tight, but I'll be off quickly and plan to have my DL bp via olci from home.
