possible new HON service in MUC
upon arrival in MUC earlier today, the limo driver asked me if i want to go straight to the exit or to the lounge instead. after replying jokingly "it would be most convenient if you could drive me home" he told me that LH is in fact working on such a service for quiet some time now. according to him it was announced internally a few times already but the problem seems to be checked luggage/customs issues. the service would obviously be restricted to a certain radius around MUC (he mentioned something like 100km) but it would certainly be great to just get into the car and drive straight to the city center or trainstation right from the plane...
lets hope they figure this out soon!
