Too many miles this year (214,000+ on American alone). I plan to do a heck of a lot less flying next year.

I am basically pruning most of my DC/NYC shuttle flights. [Delta loses 30 to 48 of these roundtrips, which were already a large pruning from 1999 and 2000.] I also plan to prune back on my US-South American flights and those site visits will be semi-monthly. [UA loses 4-6 of these roundtrips annually.] I plan to prune back on my US to India trips [Lufthansa/UA loses 10-12 of these roundtrips.]

The only thing that will gain is Europe-India (which will be handed over to British Airways and Lufthansa) and India-US (handed over to BA and Lufthansa). Europe-NYC/DC may gain (if India-US returns are not as cheap as I have been led to believe), and I will try to keep the Europe-NYC on American as much as possible, and thus keep EXP on AA.

Max. travel target for 2003 = 240k, with 140k on OneWorld, 60k on Star Alliance, 25k on Delta and a few domestic stragglers (15k)on NW/Midwest Express on my way home to the parents. If things go really well, maybe I can get this down to 130k on OneWorld and 45k on Star.
