After countless flights in LH F i deceided to try SQ C. SIN-SYD-SIN on the A380 and then SIN-FRA on the 777.

I was extremely positively surprised about SQ C. Yes, it is only C. Comparing the two this is my experience of SQ C:
- the attention of the flight attendants is not as good and personal, but still extremely good
+ despite serving many people the food service was quicker (allows more time to sleep) than on LH F
- the food is not as good as LH F, but not by a big margin. SQ had some good asian chioces.
+for the 380: The A380 is significantly less noisy than the 747/777.
o The SQ seats are somewhat unique: The back folds down into a bed which is a little small in the shoulder area, but long enough to sleep well (i am 1.80). The surface is fairly flat and does not have the bumps of normal seats/suites.
Also the surface is parallel to the floor and not angled. I slept very well.
- Disadvantage is: you have to get out of your seat, unfold/fold everything instead of just reclining your seat and sleep.
+ The privacy is much better than in LH F, especially on the 747

So my overall opinion about the product in the air:
The new SQ C is surprisingly good. When traveling alone the additional privacy outweighs the advantages of LH F (mainly the wider seat at shoulder level).

LH still has the far better product on the ground in FRA.
