I'm going to venture a guess that he probably stayed in one of the ones that has the patio/terrace, which have not been renovated into the traditional Skyloft decor. I could be wrong on that, but my impression is that there are only 3 3-bedrooms, two of which are in the modern Skyloft decor, one of which, which has the patio/terrace, is not.
Here is what I learned during my recent visit:
* There are 3 3-BR Skylofts, however none of them have balconies or patios.
* Two of them are renovated, and one is not. (The one that is not renovated is loft 28.)
* The Skyloft rooms with the balconies/patios are also not renovated, however they are 2BR units.
* There are also a couple of 2BR units that have not yet been renovated (in addition to those with the balconies), however ALL units will eventually be renovated to match the modern Skyloft theme.
