Sheraton Lisbon - after arguing with the desk person that a club level room is NOT an upgrade, I had a talk with the desk manager who tried to tell me that "junior suites" mean they're better than standard suites. After arguing a bit and citing platinum benefit policy (and noting that their website shows suites for sale), I got a nice 24th floor full suite. I was rather angry I had to argue for it, but at least the room was nice. The hotel is very 'W'-esque.
I have some questions
  1. Why isn't a club level room an upgrade
  2. Do you clearly understand what the SPG platinum benefits?
  3. Do you know what rooms that hotel has designated as "select standard suites"?
