Although obvious, my suggestion is to shop around.
If you have your heart set on a particular car make/model and a particular dealership which you wish to use for future service or whatever, your options will be more limited. If your willing to get the car out of area, or even out of state, your chances at finding a dealer who take CC's much better.

My personal experience was a Chevy dealer here in SoCal. taking a MC/Visa for an amount somewhere around $10.5K with no added fees/charges. This was on a used Camaro.
