Indeed new flights tend to be good for availability initially before the public realises they exist. Especially important in this case given the problems getting seats on the LAN flight. The schedule works quite well too allowing early morning connections to SYD and the odd late night connection from SYD.

The flight has now left me a nice dilemma I need to resolve quickly. Keep the *A itinerary I'd been working on but not yet finalised or switch to OW.
