If you don't mind me asking, what is your score card on updates since the implementation of the system? I'm platinum and I've got 3 out of 4 upgrades since beginning of march and 2 of those I requested at the gate... I don't think it's going bad at all.
I'm also starting to not see my upgrades clear early. Today will tell though. Flying DEN-ORD-ATL in a few hours. The DEN-ORD upgrade has cleared the ORD-ATL has not. Ticket was purchased Thursday 3-6-08. Will post later tonight if my upgrade clears or not.
The new process will be interesting to see how it all works as my schedule is very dynamic too at times with many last minute bookings. Not sure I'm liking the new process yet either, but I'll give in a few more weeks before I pass judgment.
Side note: As I sit here and think about this, spring break is starting and upgrades were a mess about the same time last year so who knows.
