Hi - I am planning a trip that starts in Amman and finishes in Cairo. Getting an open jaw flight for this is coming out at £750 which is outrageous compared to the £280 being quoted for a return directly to Cairo.

My question is this - can I simply get the return to Cairo and get a cab/other means of transport to Amman? If so, can anyone make suggestions accordingly - I really know very little about this part of the world so any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
