Northwest offers seat assignments 90 days prior to departure.
So does this mean ONLY Air France, CSA, Korean Air, and NW only allows seat selection on certain routes. Or does all ST carriers (China Southern, Alitalia, Korean Air, Delta, etc...) allow elite seats to be handed out to ST Platinum elites?
thanks!
It also means that on certain routes (intra EU comes to mind) the airline doesn't do any preassigned seating at all (elites included) and so they can't offer the preferred seating assignments.
