I've learned once a week to use its Backup Settings function and save to a file outside of the program's directory.
I've heard several instances of this happening but try as I might I just can't reproduce it. Definitely backup the MileTracker.settings file (likely in C:/Program Files/MileTracker) but there's no need to do it weekly unless you're adding or modifying accounts weekly. If anyone has had this happen more than once and they see a pattern, please share!
