which auction. were you happy with them? what was their % you can pm me if you prefer.

a few years back, i sent 20 some odd cases of 88 burgundy to chicago to auction. some of the restaurants were using the sale for their wine list. a few bottles sold each week. got weekly $2-500 checks for over a year. I had purchased the wine from MacArthur liquor in DC on a closeout(bought 30 cases). just did not think it worth half what it would bring. it brought half, and i was still happy.

we have a beau noveau party every year. the year I bought the 88, one bottle of noveau, the rest was grand cru burgundy. interesting the number of people who consider themselves players to ask "what's the difference, charmes -chambertin, mazis-chambertin,griotte-c, etc-c, what's the difference????
