When I am
home in Nashville, I have to dine at the
Loveless Cafe, which in addition to being famous for its biscuits is my neighborhood restaurant.
I also like to go to
Wildwood, which is a new and ridiculously good place near my house that doesn't advertise, because, as the owner told us, he didn't want people from outside our area coming in and taking all the seats (it is jammed every night as it is).
When I visit
Arcadia, CA, I go to
Din Tai Fung Dumpling House for the great dumplings, frenetic atmosphere, and dangerous parking lot.
When I go to
Boston, which is rare, I go to
Santarpio's in East Boston (very near Logan) for their coal-fired, authentically olive-oily, pizza...this used to be our lunch order-in place when I worked near there.
