The way that it should work: Breezeway needs to begin AFTER Zone 3.
Zone 1 is first class and bulkhead. You have these people seated first for obvious reasons; FAs can do drinks and coats and there's no chaos yet. Bulkheads are commonly given to families who are allowed time to get settled. I'd like someone here to tell me why a Silver Medallion listed in Zone 3 on a T fare should be on-board the aircraft before a paid F.
Zone 2 & 3 have been specifically designated for Medallions. Everyone has the space at that point to get their bags in the overheads. Everyone is still seated before the other passengers.
Zone 4 begins with the rear of the aircraft. At which point Zones 1, 2, and 3 are reasonable allowed to jump the line at any point. Breezeway, I believe in concept, is supposed to allow you to jump the other part of the cabin. The fact that on medallion heavy flights (ATL-DCA, ATL-LGA) you have non-F clogging up boarding is absurd.
