Shame on UA for having such a third world facility at a major gateway!
I really don't get your complaint. I just went through ORD and JFK CI this past week and they were definitely not better. What exactly are you disgusted with in T6? Which premium check in area on the other side of the Pacific are you speaking of? I've done a lot in China...lots of glitz but not much substance. And you should see some of the domestic airports...

On a good morning I can park in lot B, take the shuttle, get through security at T6 and be at the gate in under 15 minutes with only carry on...I don't think I've ever waited longer than 10 minutes going through CI. Pretty effecient if you ask me.

Disgusted...I don't see what there is to be disgusted about. Maybe I need to slow down and take my time to look around next time.
