I flew from Continental EWR-DEL nonstop because I have family in Delhi, and it was amazing. However returning from MAA(I have family there too), I had to transfer in Delhi from Domestic to International and it sucked big time. I am better off sticking with Emirates, Jet Airways or Lufthansa if I ever decide to comeback from MAA. Transferring in Dubai, Brussels, or Frankfurt is easier than Delhi.

But does anyone know if any of the airlines such as Continental, Air India or Kingfisher, are planning to fly from JFK or EWR to MAA nonstop any time in the future. That would be heaven on Earth because I can avoid stopping in Europe, Middle East, Delhi, or Bombay.
Welcome to FT dogpack!

I think CO was talking about this, but need (more?) 772-LR's or something like this - you can search the CO forum for the details - I'm sure it's there...

How did you fly into DEL, btw? Were you in Y or C?

Let us know!
